A fake Facebook account is an account where someone is fantasizing
to be something or someone that doesn't exist. Fake Facebook accounts can
include accounts for fake or made up people, pets, celebrities or organizations
that does not exist in real. How to report a fake Facebook account:

- Go to the profile of the fake Facebook account.
- If you are not able to find it, try searching for the name used on that Facebook profile or asking your friends if they can send you a profile link to it.
- Click Menu (three horizontal dots) on the cover photo and click to choose Report.
- Now you should follow the on-screen instructions for fake Facebook accounts to file a report.
If an
account is pretending to be you or someone you know, you can report it for
impersonation.
